Has anyone else had problems with Xbox Fitness not launching

With one interesting side note. I have two Xbox Ones. One in the house and one in a game room. The house one works fine, the game room has the issue listed above...

 

Fitness is an internet hog as is the X1 in general. I think any router more than a year old and not top of the line will give problems with multiple X1 in house.

 

This has been a problem with Xbox Fitness since launch. It's hit and miss for me as to whether the app launches. Then when it does, it's never guaranteed to stay working throughout an entire workout. Most of the time it is stable but compared to any other
game and app it is of poor reliability. For example, yesterday 5 mins before the end of an insanity workout it crashed to desktop, completely erasing my scores.... infuriating to say the least.

I wish they would sort out an update for this app as it has the potential to be truly awesome.

 

I think it only takes a small hick up in wifi connection to throw this game completely off as other online games sort of buffer and get back into the game.

They need to come up with a list of routers that actually work with the X1 and my bet is there is none for under $300. We have always been able to run 5 xbox 360 at once and now if both X1 are turned on games like fitness always freezes up.

 

Just solved by Microsoft. Try to remove your profile, completely turn off (unplug) you Xbox for 1 min and then sing in with old profile.

 

I am sorry but i think i think, Either tech Support needs TECH SUPPORT, or more training.

They don't seem to EVER have any solutions aside from " send it in we'll replace it".

 

I just spoke with Support about this issue and it worked for me:

1. Power cycle (while on, hold power button for 20 sec, unplug console from power, hold power button for 20 sec, leave off for 1 minute, plug back in, turn on)

2. Clear Persistent Storage 3 times (Settings > Disc & Blu-Ray > Persistent Storage > Clear Persistent Storage)

3. Reset your MAC address (Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > Restart)

After this I was able to open Fitness without any problems (and all other games). Hope that helps!!

 

I'm having a problem were I try to lanch xbox fitness and the green screen comes on but thdn it goes black doesn't go back to home screen. Anyone else have this problem

 

I contacted xbox support and via chat they helped me sort it, they were very helpful

 

Same problem. xbox takes an L.
