Has anyone been using a seagate backup plus fast?

I use a Seagate backup plus 2tb portable drive and I see a significant difference in load times.

For example:

Dead Rising 3: to main screen - INT 60 secs. EXT 41 secs.

DR3 from main screen to 'continue' - INT 50 secs. EXT 35 secs.

The load time differences were enough for me to copy over every game I own, thirty odd of them, to the external hard drive.

 

May I ask why u got the backup plus and not the expansion that comes with no backup software?

 

Ah makes sense...I cant decide weather to get the backup plus or the expansion ones I know major nelson had the expansion.

 

Anyone though by any chance has used the Seagate backup plus fast on the Xbox one?

 

Anyone try the Seagate backup plus 5tb know if it works ?

Did u notice any difference in load times with that drive cause its supposedly 2 drives stripped in raid 0 so im curious if I buy that drive if it will indeed drop my load times or not make much of a difference its hard to know since its a xbox I know if
I was too use the drive on a pc it would make a huge difference but on a xbox I just don't know unless someone has actually tested it.

this guy noticed a difference but I cant say if its just the usb 3.0 that made the difference or the actual drive from Seagate.

Well what do u recommend I get lol do I get a Seagate expansion 4tb a Seagate backup plus 5tb or a Seagate backup plus fast 4tb?

 

Im going tomorrow to get a drive and im stuck on those 3

 

Why would the drive be faster if you used it with a PC?

SATA is faster than USB 3.0 so if everything else is equal the internal drive on the PC will be faster.

I can see the logic of gaming off an external if you want to reduce load times considering the internal HD on the One is difficult to replace and voids the warranty but on a PC......never.

 

I know im not buying it for my computer lol and I wont void my warranty so im stuck trying to find something that I can use to game off that will be better then the internal drive bigger and not cost me as much as I paid for my xbox one.

 

So can anyone help me decide between these three Seagate expansion 4tb, Seagate backup plus 5tb, or Seagate backup plus fast 4tb.
