    Has anyone been able to install backward compatible DLC from DISC (not digital)


    For example, Fallout 3 GOTY has a second disc with DLC on it. I'm trying to figure out whether or not it's available to me. I was able to install the DLC from Dark Souls, but that's because I own the digital version. With Fallout 3, I have it on the disc.
    Just wondering if they've resolved how this will work in the future.

    Xbox One Backwards Compatibility with Xbox 360 bundle games?

    Understanding that the full list of backwards-compatible games has not yet been released, and information on the XB1 backwards compatibility program has been more general than specific, does anyone know if Xbox 360 games that came as part of a 360 bundle
    will be available for free installation?

    Specific example - my 360 was bundled with Fable 3 (disc version) and Halo: Reach (digital download). If Reach is included on the list of backwards-compatible games, will I be able to install it for free?

    xbox one backwards compatibility question

    I'm guessing the secondary disk that installs the DLC add ons would also need to be backwards compatible. Not much has been said about second disk installs for DLC. We do know add on DLC is being worked on so it does work with the backwards compatible titles.

    I installed Alan Wake from a disc and all the DLC showed up to install after that. No probs...

    I clicked on manage game after I installed it and the DLC's showed up to install.

    ^yes same with all the Gears games. But the OP is on about Disc based DLC not digital so I don't have an answer unfortunately..

    Already Own Red Dead Redemption on 360?

    You should be able to go ahead and install your RDR disc on your Xbox One without a problem.

    That game has been added to the Backward Compatibility list a week or two ago. Backward compatibility is not limited to digital versions of the 360 games, if that's what you're thinking.

    The backward compatible version of the game includes the dlc, so there is no need to install them from the dlc disc.

    Borderlands GotY Editon Xbox 360. Add-On Disc not installing on Xbox One.

    If I remember rightly, the backward compatible version of Borderlands had the DLC included in the game, so there was no need to install it. Hence why the DLC disc was not compatible.
    If this is true, how would I be able to verify that the add-on content is available on my Xbox One?

    I also own the digital copy of the base game as well.
