Has a Reset of Windows 10 fixed anyone's issues with lag/poor network quality?

I upgraded an HP Envy 17t with 16 GB RAM, dedicate GeForce 740M, etc to Windows 10 from 8.1. It was more than enough for what specs say. Test shows I can stream at Very High, but even at Low, it still had the occasional network message so many others are
having. I had an Archer C9 router and thought because I can't do wired that the laptop and Xbox on the single 5Ghz were too much, so I got a Linksys ea9200 because I couldn't find where the criteria was and it was the cheapest Tri band that had two 5Ghz bands.
I still get the same lags. At this point if it is not the drivers, router, power modes, video card, location off, DMZ, firewall, etc. I am left thinking of doing a reset of the laptop. The odd thing is that I have seen no one say it has helped them even
though it has been suggested to many as an answer. Anyone try this and has it worked?

xbox dashboard issues..

bumping it back up for anyone who may need the help.. ive still had a few issues and thi tends to fix it off the bat.. if not a hard reset..

Please go to Settings > Network > Advance Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > Restart

xbox one controller severe issues with game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Still not fixed with Windows 10 x64 CU 15063.332.

XBox One Bluetooth controller has serious fps-drops issues with game "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning".

Hello, to stream at High quality you need to have 3500 Mbit Upload. When you are streaming it uses upload so if anyone else in your house is using facebook posting statuses and videos that uses upload. If your settings do meet this criteria then I suggest
you uninstall the xbox app and reinstall it as there could have been some bugs in the upgrade.

I don't think this is the issue. This happens with little to no other activity and the upload is a consistent 12-13 and at least 100 down. I had reinstalled the Xbox app, as well as the beta and it did not help. There was another thread with the Intel
AC 3160 and the TP Link Routers. I adjusted some of the settings and it seems a bit more stable but not completely there.

I'm having the same issue, it lasts about two hours and tells me that I there is a poor network quality and I've checked all my network connections and everything says I should be able to stream at high quality. Is there a fix for this???

Hello,

You can try resetting your network settings in Windows 10 by going to the Settings => Network & Internet and at the bottom of the page select "Network Reset", chances are it will fix the issue if it is related to connection.

By the way, is your Windows 10 up to date?

Same thing occurs to me after the Creators Update for Windows 10. Xbox support insists that it is a problem with Insider Preview members only and otherwise refused to help.

Reset everything, network, windows update, pending updates for windows store. reset windows store, tried multiple network cables, and wireless. Nothing changes the useless network quality issues message.

Video won't stream but audio streams ok for a few seconds until the connection is lost.
