Harry Potter & kid-type games

Why aren't there any Harry Potter games for Xbox one? Or hardly any Lego games? It seems like the target market for Xbox One is not younger kids. That should have been made clear before we invested in this that games would not be developed for and available
to younger kids like they are for the other versions. We should have bought an Xbox 360. We are having serious buyers regret!

Lego Harry Potter worth buying?

I'm waiting until they release LEGO Harry Potter the complete edition (All the movies). Unfortunately there are no current good Harry Potter games. The old ones on the PS1 were decent platformers. One day I plan to make a good Harry Potter game.

 

That's a shame my friend, though you would probably be saying the opposite in a years time when the 360 might not be supported any longer and the Xbox One has all the titles you're looking for. Though really, you should have realised a new product isn't
going to be flush with all genre of titles.

A quick google search shows that there are multiple Lego titles though, for example Marvel Avengers, Marvel hero's, batman, the hobbit. You might also be interested in checking out the marketplace, a lot of indie titles seem a little more oriented towards
children.

 

well the console is only like a couple years old, it takes time for new games to come out. there are a few lego games out, and plenty more on the way.

also not really sure what you were expecting from an industry dominated by franchises like halo, call of duty, battlefield...maybe you should have done more than a halfway glance down the electronics aisle before picking up a $500 system, like looking at
release schedules and whatnot. maybe then you wouldn't be here whining.

 

I guess I wouldn't think it would take this long to convert 360 games to Xbox One games. There were hardly any release dates on any games at XBO release - there still isn't for Harry Potter, as far as I can tell. I would have thought they would be working
to release them even before the XBO was released - that they wouldn't be this far behind. No longer support 360? You mean, like, in 15 years by the time they get XBO games converted - after my kids are grown and on to the next phase or two? It still seems
like 360 is the better bet for us.

 

I think the possible reason for the lack of any Harry Potter games on the Xbox One is that there has been no new Harry Potter movie or book released since the Xbox One came out.

Some of these game may not fit to your tastes, but they are available.

 

There are some kids games out there, but the Xbox One is mostly geared toward hardcore games. There will be a lot of kids games during its lifespan though. At least I believe so.

 

Wait, I thought it was a console geared for family entertainment, which usually includes kids.

 

It's actually quite funny, all the Lego games are now discounted for gold subscribers on the Xbox One.

 

Yeah Lego marvel is currently £8 on the store that's pretty good
