    Harmless custom pictures not being verified


    I must be uncertain of the rules regarding custom pictures because stuff like Hitler, weed, religious slurs ect. all seem to get approved but for example it won't let me upload a picture of a dog... No meme text no hidden meanings or anything even remotely
    inappropriate or sinister, just a dog.

    I've not been suspended from uploading custom pictures because I've always kept it clean, I can upload anything else just fine and it's verified almost instantly but I've seen some people upload some shocking/disturbing and clearly inappropriate pictures
    wondering how that got past verification and I can't upload a picture of a dog. What?!?

    Cannot change Profile picture

    Changing to custom pictures is not allowed. If the previous picture was also a custom picture, that service is still suspended with no ETA on it being reinstated.

    Your profile picture needs to be verified by xbox team in order to update in case of custom picture.

    So this may take some time

    Don't change it Immediately.

    There was a short delay for custom profile pictures a week ago, it was fixed so you can upload.

    There is a possibility it may not be verified or the XBLET flagged it.

    It was reported that due to the covid19 some services would not have a team to verify the flow of profile pictures, so they put a stop to it until further notice you cant use a custom profile picture.

    You can still use avatar editor and use the avatar for the pictures.
