    Hardwired Download speeds on xbox have been very slow lately


    I've noticed a considerable drop in download speed with the last several builds I've run tests on my connection which is 400Mbps from spectrum with a hardwired connection using a nighthawk r9000 router and on every device in my home i get full download speed but on my xbox it can range from 1Mbps up to 200Mbps but never reach my full 400Mbps speeds anyone else notice this?

    Xbox One Download Speeds dropping to 20 kb/s and no higher than 5 mbps

    Some things u might want to try is doing a full restart of your XBox and then consider hardwiring your connection with cat 6 or cat 7 cable. I have mine hardwired with cat 7 and also have a 1000 mbps connection but sometimes still have very slow game download
    speeds of 75-150mbps. Depends on the server i suppose

    The Xbox has always been very iffy when it comes to Download and Upload speeds... I pay for gigabit internet and the Xbox never gets anywhere NEAR those speeds hardwired... I get MAYBE 300Mbps max during downloads and when I test my speed the upload is maybe
    half what it should be.

    I don't know if maybe I need to upgrade my cables or what, but yeah... speeds are very inconsistent.

    Xbox servers are seeing large amounts of users so upload and download speeds may be slow. Lots of people will be on in late afternoon and evening times.
