Hardware test? suspiciously silent

Hi, my xbox seems laggy sometimes. And then got the feeling this box used to make a lot more noise, now silent. Is there anywhere to see CPU temp or test fan? Won`t open it before I have checked if the warranty is out or not.

Brand new xbox one noise

No is a hardware issue but a software trick camouflage the xbox one is silent... Only the silent xbox one pre- patch are really ok..

Can you please try following the
network support guides and
network troubleshooter as this will quite often be the cause for the console seeming laggy. The console should shut itself down if it's overheating and as long there is
adequate ventilation then this should not be a problem.

haven't heard of that router but since it is a "gateway" I'm suspicious of it.....can you try and make a wifi hotspot with your phone and test it that way ?

Hi,

Based on everything you've tested to date (thanks for the info) I would say that your Xbox is faulty. If you've tried resetting your Xbox network settings to factory defaults and then connecting to different routers using different cables and a modem as
well and it still fails after a factory reset with nothing else changed after that I'd say its faulty.

You could try it on a friends router as well but I'm sure it will also fail
