Hi, I hope you are well. I bought an Xbox X in Dubai and brought it to Karachi, where its power supply failed and had to be replaced. There are no Microsoft repair stores in Pakistan so I had to buy a new power supply from a third party. The new power supply was brand new and had Microsoft’s seal. After the new power supply was installed and the Xbox updated, I got a notification that my Xbox is banned from the Xbox network. Please look into this and kindly reverse this if possible as I cannot afford a new Xbox and I had no other option but to purchase a new power supply. I am available for any further information you may require, but please help me.

    :)

as Pakistan is not as supported Xbox territory, you are not allowed to use it outside of approved regions. according to the Microsoft services agreement this can result in the disabling of your Xbox.

Yup. can not use Xbox services unless you are i a supported country.

    https://www.microsoft.com/servicesagreement/upcoming

"You agree not to access or use material or Services which are illegal or not licensed for use in the country from which you access or use such material or Services, or to conceal or misrepresent your location or identity to access or use such material or Services."

this would likely be why you're banned,

    Hi S. M. Raza Zaidi

As Smwutches has said, console bans are permanent and cannot be reversed. Please note that this is a community forum and is staffed by volunteers and gamers just like you - not Microsoft staff. We have no access to accounts, Microsoft systems or customer information and can only offer helpful advice.

Sadly there is no authorised Microsoft repair service cover in Pakistan, so any work done there will have been unauthorised, as will the parts that they used, and will have violated your service agreements. Microsoft has no way to tell an unofficial repair from a hacked or modded console, so all are blocked from the XBOX service.

For your future reference, if repairs are ever needed then to avoid a console being locked out of the XBOX ecosystem repairs must be carried out by Microsoft via their repair service, or by a Microsoft-authorised repair service, in or out of warranty. You can also carry out repairs yourself using Microsoft's repair guiides and using only genuine Microsoft components obtained from Microsoft or a Microsoft-authorised repair service. In the case of moving to a territory with no such repair service, your only option is to arrange repair in a territory with official repair services, carry out the repairs yourself with genuine parts you have ordered from Microsoft following their procedures, or replace the device.

Also keep in mind that as per MS terms, any warranty on your hardware only applies in the county of purchase and does not transfer should you move to a different county or territory.

    Xbox One BRICK

We can try some solutions but if they don't work you might need to go ahead and replace the 'brick.'
