    Hardware issues with Xbox One joystick, button RB won't work correctly


    Hello,

    I have already reported issues with Xbox One Joystick I bought on November 2020 and last week RB button stopped working. I have already updated my Xbox One joystick firmware.

    I talked to one person from Xbox support about the issue, he requested to send attached files of Joystick Serial Number and the evidence of the buy I have made in November. I sent all the requested information as attachment in transfer file platform they have.

    He then told me, he has opened a repair order for me that all the evidence were approved by Xbox. After 10 minutes waiting on the phone, he asked me to connect the Joystick to a Xbox One console which I don't have because I only use this Xbox controller on my PC. He told me that it was not possible to make the order repair because of that.

    What is the problem Xbox has with customer support? Why are you asking me to connect my Xbox controller to an Xbox console, you already have the buy evidence and Serial Number I provide to you! I also send you too many attachment files as evidence.

    I am very disappointed with Microsoft Xbox customer support. They make you waste a lot of time.

    Xbox adaptive controller re-binding joysticks

    Just so I understand you correctly:

    What you are trying to do is to have the controller send a button press when you move the Joystick?

    As for example, when you push up on the joystick you press A, when you press down on the joystick the controller sends button B, and left and right will be LB RB for example?

    If so, then I'm afraid this is not possible.

    You can however try to build a similar setup, so that an arcade stick gets wired to 3.5mm jacks that you plug into the A, B, X, Y, LB, RB inputs on the adaptive controller.

    [Spoiler] All GTA V Cheats

    The left and right buttons/joysticks are not giving the required results for the purpose of cheats (for ex-lower wanted level).Whereas the LT/RT AND LB/RB Buttons are working good for cheats.

    The joystick and other buttons on top of the controller are working fine otherwise, but just not for the cheats.

    Can you therefore , please guide me how do i use the cheats through my xbox wireless controller.

    Same problem here on one of my controllers. Connect it via USB and it works fine. XBOX button lights up solid like it is connected, but only XBOX Home button works and console responds like I want to turn it off but the joysticks won't move to select anything.
