Hardware Issue or the game

I've been trying to install Sea of Thieves for the past 3 months. The console said that there was a 15 gb download when it clearly is a 40 gb update. I'm getting to the point where i should factory reset my Xbox. Anyone got an idea about whats going on?

Try performing the hard reset exactly like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 30 seconds. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

I've tried both re-installing & the factory reset. Same issues. I think it's probably going to be a GPU issue, but it's strange that it ONLY happens on 2 games?! (thanks for replying so quickly btw!).

Also, £84 for the repair... and I imagine I will have to pay for the shipping too... ouch.

I used to have the same issue i thought it was my router but i found out its was the batteries and charger i had for my controllers i figured that out when i got a new battery kit and charger when my cat chewed up the power cord for my old one
