Hardware Issue (controller or console issue)

So I was playing a game with a friend and I heard this weird blip bloop noise, and my controller stopped responding to any input or commands.

I restarted the controller, didn't fix it.

Restarted the console, didn't fix it.

Swapped batteries, nothing changed.

And I connected the controller to my console but it was still unresponsive.

I did everything I could think of, but the controller will not sync, and while it shows it's connected, it doesn't actually to anything, even when wired to the console itself.

Just want to know if this is a console issue or controller issue before I got wasting money on a new controller.

Have you tried a different controller at all? Also have to ask if you on the insider program at all?.

I can't get it to connect at all, even with a cable. It shows that it is connected, but is completely unresponsive, even while connected via cable.

I dont have a spare controller to try.

Also not sure what the insider thing is. I'm on the ambassadors if that's what you were asking.
