    Go to Settings>System>Update and downloads. Under updates, you can check for new ones and also select keep my console up to date.

    The Xbox is custom hardware with a fixed revision cycle or hardware.

    PC's can be or many, many different hardware builds, supporting that would be pretty tricky. Games on the Xbox are designed for the fixed Xbox Hardware.

    Yes ive tried that, sorry i shoulve clarified the other console was at a different house so different Ip address too, I also forgot to list that ive tried fully disconnecting the power for a minute and fully
