Discus and support Hardly ANY games recognized by the DVR! in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; So I just tried uploading a clip from Battlerite and Paragon to my Xbox account, however, it says it can’t do it cause the games aren’t recognized....     Hardly ANY games recognized by the DVR!


    So I just tried uploading a clip from Battlerite and Paragon to my Xbox account, however, it says it can’t do it cause the games aren’t recognized. Understandable since both games are currently in beta and not on Xbox, but I also tried a clip from Project
    Cars 2, a game that’s been out for a bit and on Xbox, yet same issue. Can Xbox please work on getting games supported?

    XBOX One Live TV skipping solution?

    My comcast dvr box takes a while to boot and be recognized by X1 when issuing the xbox on command. I timed it at about 40 seconds.

    Game DVR doesn't recognize game

    So I know there's reasons for why this isn't working, but if it's a game that's currently on Xbox... shouldn't it be recognized by Microsoft as a game? I've gotten around some of the restrictions in the past by copying some meta
    data from another game that was recognized to the one that wasn't to let it upload. Don't like doing that... feels wrong, but it works. One of the clips I've tried to upload was from Rivals of Aether, which is on Xbox One, but the app kept saying it wasn't
    recognized.

    Is there a better way at getting around this issue or will there be a future update to allow any game to be uploaded to my feed? I really like the DVR feature, especially since most of my family and friends own an Xbox One, but don't do much on PC, and it's
    fun to keep up to date with everyone through clips and being able to comment on them.

    I can't help you for the 2 not on xbox, but for the project cars, what you need to do is get the tags for the game. This can be done by taking a clip of the game on xbox and downloading it onto your computer by click on the "on xbox live" tab in game dvr
    on the xbox app and hitting download. Once it's done go to the "on this PC" tab and select the clip. Click on open folder, right click properties on the clip you just downloaded, and click on the details tab. Then click on tags and copy them. Now in your
    folder of clips, go to properties and details and Erase the current tags, then paste the ones you just copied. Hit ok and refresh the xbox app and you should be able to upload your clip.

    Hi Rastigan,

    The only videos that are eligible for upload is if they have been recorded using the Game DVR, if a video is taken from Game DVR and edited externally, the Xbox App will recognize the file as external and not allow it to be uploaded.

    Titanfall(Chat Problems)

    I also have been experiencing that with Titanfall, the in-game chat hardly works. Some games it's fine, other times it isn't recognizing that I'm in game chat.

    im having the same issue, where it recognizes me saying it but does nothing, also when i manually use the game dvr i get an error message

    Game DVR no longer recognizing games

    Hi,

    Incorrect configuration setting is one of the possible reasons why the Game DVR no longer recognizing games. To help you resolve this issue, we suggest that you perform the steps below:

    Step 1: Run the troubleshooter for Windows apps using the link below. This will help remove problems with an app from Microsoft Store.

    Click here

    Step 2: Try to disable and re-enable the Game DVR on your computer.

    1. How to disable Game DVRRight-click the Start button.
    2. Click Settings.
    3. Click Gaming.
    4. Click Game DVR.
    5. Click the switch below Record in the background while I'm playing a game so that it turns Off.
    Note: Restart you computer before you enable the Game DVR again

    Step 3: Reset Xbox app settings.

    1. Click Start and click Settings.
    2. Select System.
    3. Select Apps & features.
    4. Find the Xbox app and click Advanced options.
    5. Click Reset. Restart your device so that the changes can take effect.
