Hardline for noobs? Difficulty?

I am not experienced with Battlefield at all and I was wondering, would someone have fun playing online if they are new to Battlefield or would they just get destroyed by all the experienced players? The reason I am asking is because my friend and I play
Call of Duty almost every night and I am getting a little bit tired of it since I play it so much and I am very interested in Battlefield when it comes out. The thing is, she is not the best gamer yet, she does good in COD team deathmatch but doesn't like
to play search and harder game modes because she dies a lot and doesn't get a whole lot of kills and Battlefield seems more complicated. Do you think she would do okay if she gets Hardline with me when it comes out? Would she be able to get some kills as a
"typical" girl gamer (I am not trying to be rude, just trying to explain it because we all can associate with this stereotype)? Or does the majority of Battlefield players have a lot of experience. If she can't get the hang of it I will feel bad for her getting
it because she won't like it, we might have to stick with COD.

[/quote]Ummmmm, whats Hardline suppossed to do? Earn SSRs/points faster? I dont think Hardline rerolls CPs any more AND you have NO teammates in FFA, so therefore you will NOT get UAV assist or ANY assist uses from Hardline in FFA.

 

There are just some games that are harder than others, I would consider COD kind of an easy game and one that anyone can just play and get some kills/do okay.

 

battlefield is all about teamwork! if you play as a medic throw out some medkits and revive your team. if you are a engineer destroy the enemy vehicles and repair your teams! if you play support throw out that ammo! and always spot the enemy for your team!
you get points for everything you do! its a much deeper game than COD in my opinion! you will get your but kicked at first but if you give the game some time you will realize there is way more game than here than call of duty! oh and allways go for the objectives!.
there are some videos called how not to be a noob in battlefield! they helped me a lot when I started! google them! good luck.

 

most bf players wont be playing hardline, it wont play like bf, see EAs attempt to move bf in the cod direction didn't really go anywhere, so now they're gonna go the gta route, its gonna be even worse

 

yup ....Hardline is gonna suck, as for your "noob" question ... BF is more team oriented that other shooters out there, having said that ...play for fun, go for objectives, play your class bla bla bla ...but have fun, by the way, just get BF4, I believe
it comes with premium now for $60 anyway (I could be wrong) but BF4 is likely the last relatively "true-Battlefield" game we're going to get for awhile

one game I had my doubts about: dying light, turns out its awesome, smooth fast great graphics and it is far and away the best connecting game we've ever played, everyone can connect every time with no lag no drops no trouble, no other game has ever performed
like that for us

who is mad not me!! but saying it will suck before you try it is silly. (in my opinion) the beta is actually fun to me! and I can say that having played it!

 

Is it okay to like both Battlefield and COD? Or do I have to hate one?
