  1. Harddrive too small for downloaded game

I purchased and downloaded a game on xbox.com for my son. Only realised that I had purchased a 5,46gb game and his console only has a 4gb memory unit. I have a 8gb usb memory unit but cannot download onto it. Is there anything I can do? Feel like a bit of
    an idiot....obviously not a tech-savvy mom....

    :)

    Halo 4

all the content is on your harddrive, when they sign in their profile on your xbox, the game searches the harddrive for content and it reads the content that's on there when you downloaded it.

    New Harddrive

I own the xbox 360 4 gig model and I am going to get the harddrive for it but was wondering, I bought a few games and I am using a 8 gig mem stick which I have downloaded the games to, should I transfer the games to the new harddrive from the memstick
or redownload them to the harddrive?

  5. Yes, I formatted the usb for the console and my console recognises it as a memory unit but does not give an option to download the game to it.

  6. What game did you purchase? Games like Need for Speed and Battlefield 4 needs a hard disk to install and play the game.

  7. All right. That should be no problem to download. There are, however, some USB memories that does not work to download to. Check if you can download a demo to the USB. Harddrive too small for downloaded game :) If this does not work, try another USB and then I would suggest to call up Support
    for more help.

Hard drive detected but no games show?

You have too install games onto the connected hardrive first for them too be able too be seen or played. First set up the harddrive so it is connected too your xbox then download any game you want onto your xbox harddrive and once it is download if you
select it in the options and menus then you should be able too see the downloaded games on your harddrive. You can also transfer data between your xbox and your external harddrive so that you have games stored on your harddrive rather than your xbox. Hope
this helps you and good luck.
