harddrive disconecting

hi all. My hardrive disconects from my xbox then reconnects all by itself. ive unplugging then plugging back but didnt work. ive also switched usb ports and hard reset it but that still didnt work what can i do

Hi, Did you tried using a different and compatible cable for your hard drive?
Just to cover the possibility of a broken cable.

If not, everything points to be an issue with the drive itself. If you can, please contact the manufacturer and start the warranty process

hey mate, the harddrive i have is a 2tb seagate. ive tried connecting it to a computer but it does not show up. and i do not have another drive.

What hard drive do you have?
Did you tried connecting the drive to a different console or to a PC to see how it goes?
Do you have a different drive? If yes, please connect it to your console to see how it goes

have youtried disconecting it from the internet and took out the harddrive , then turned it on with out reconnecting the internet or hd.

then once it turns on and if it works right add the hd and do what i suggested

it says my nat is open but im not disconecting every 5 min now i disconect evry 3 hours or something like that
