Hardcore Teammate Killing

Please, for the love of god, bring back the 20 second penalty for teammate killing in hardcore games.

Getting kicked because someone on your team goes and camps on a frag you just threw is unfair.

Hardcore NEEDS Ricochet

Today while playing hardcore a teammate spwned in cront of me and shot him . i was killed as.in richrcet and greeting wth the message team killing is not allowed .

 

Hardcore mode needs RIC

HARDCORE: Played about a handful of games of hardcore TDM in various lobbies and after almost each time I've called in a care package my teammates were killing me and each other to steal my care package. ITS BLOODY ANNOYING!!

 

Better yet, bring back ricochet.

Far as I know you can join back when getting kicked but honestly team mates who get in the way deserve getting TK

 

Call in the "friendly" walker tanks on the map Comeback equals automatic kick. Houston we have a problem......

 

I always liked the idea of ricochet but the 20 second penalty was better than a straight up kick. Everyone team kills by accident at some point especially with killstreaks.

 

Ya ... it's rampant. Completely ridiculous. Missile Strike with Nanobots ... another automatic kick. Palladin ... another automatic kick. If your teammates run to the objective that you're attacking ... another automatic kick. Teammate runs in front
of you when you're shooting an enemy ... another automatic kick. Like bowski says ... everyone does it by accident. The 20 second rule was brutal but tolerable if given the choice between that and the current show they're peddling. If they're trying to
make it like real life, then do away with the respawn. Ridiculous to try and avoid team killing when the game moves as fast as it does. Someone comes around the corner at high velocity and I'm putting a cap in their butt no matter who it is. I'm very close
to switching to Battlefield - and this comes from someone who HATES that game. Absolutely moronic the way they have it set up.

 

I play a ton of HC search, and many other game modes. I will say the the kicking of Team killers has severely cut down on the morons that would rocket the ground and ruin the search game. They only get to do it once and they are kicked. The game does allow
for a rejoin which I am not sure I like, but only if the lobby doesn't fill. I have had to rejoin my team a few times after my streaks have gotten me kicked.

I do not like Ricochet because a teammate will sometimes troll and camp with a bomb or flag or try to block you in a corner, etc. I like the option of shooting a teammate in the head if he steals the bomb and hides in the back of spawn the whole round.

I do think they got the killstreak kicking wrong. If you have a kill streak, you shouldn't be penalized for using it. If you can't keep yourself from shooting 3 teammates during a game, that is a different story. That is what Core is for.

Ya, I agree. But I just got kicked from a game where the entire team was running Blind Eye. My Paladin became useless otherwise I was running the risk of getting kicked - which I eventually did. Same with Missile Strikes, especially with Nanobots. I
got kicked from a game earlier because I stuck a teammate with a semtex when he ran in front of me to try and get the kill that I had set up - and that was because, again, my Paladin did more damage to me than to the other team. The only problem with being
able to rejoin is that you lose all the XP you earned and your K/D gets reset. Now, I'm not really one to care what my K/D is, but I'm nearly always at the top of my lobby in XP - that I do care about. Otherwise I'd just play FFA all the time.

Kicking should only involve shots fired from primary or secondary weapons. Leave out the killstreaks and exo launchers - but maybe that makes too much sense for a CoD game.

 

No it is not always intentional. Its easy to kill a teamate in the heat of battle, but for the players who do think it is fun to team kill some sort of penalty needs to be in place.

Wait this is an Xbox forums correct. We are posting in the right place agreed? Is anybody listening, that's the question. Shouldn't a rep be dropping in here every once in awhile to assure us we are being heard? And that the money we are spending is going

If you're looking for changes to the game itself you'd be better off posting to the official Call of Duty forums. I assume the devs might look there for feedback. But there is little that Xbox reps can do when it comes to specific game titles.
