    Hard won't work in 4gb 360


    A while ago I bought a 4gb 360 off ebay. It worked fine, then I realized I need a hard drive for certain games. I got one and it worked fine for a couple weeks then It would freeze or get the e68 error when I turned the Xbox on. I thought it was the hard
    drive that was messed up, but I have bought two other hard drives(including a 100$ one from Walmart) and both of them . Should I just buy a new xbox 4gb or would the hdds that were in the old Xbox mess it up. Any advice would be appreciated.

    TITAN FALL IS NOT WORKING FOR MY 360

    game warns it won't work with any 360 but one with the built in hard drive, no flash drives, memory cars, 4gb xbox, gotta be new with a real drive inside.

    Xbox Origional game fails to launch

    The 4gb is internal flash memory and not a hard drive. So that alone won't work with the game. If the hard drive you bought is a knock-off, then it won't work with original games.

    Hi,

    The 360 S and E models have an internal hard drive bay. You can but your old drive in the replacement console. The drives work on S and E.

    I would advise against purchasing a old 360 4GB model, because if the on-board 4GB flash memory fails (it's not a hard drive), you won't be able to update the console anymore.

    What hard drive does it have and where did you buy it? If your console is the 4GB model, then that is flash memory. Original Xbox games require an official hard drive, they won't work with the 4GB Slim's built in storage.

    work on cheap knock off hard drives from eBay either.
