Hard restart after every time I turn on my Xbox One

    Hard restart after every time I turn on my Xbox One


    Almost 90% of the time I have to do a hard restart on my Xbox One when I launch a game. Before I turn it off I make sure all background apps are closed because that seems to cause the problem but it still does it anyways. Is there any way to fix this because
    it seems that doing this a lot wouldn't be a good thing with my Xbox.

    Xbox One X fails to turn on

    As of one week ago or so, my XBox performs a hard restart to turn on every time. I normally turn it on using a controller, however the controllers now fail to connect.

    Pressing the XBox button once makes a noise, and pressing it a second time hard restarts it. Nothing is displayed on TV until the hard reset starts

    Xbox one restarts every time I turn it on

    every time I turn on my Xbox one, it restarts. It is a pre owned refurbished Xbox one from GameStop that I got 3 weeks ago. Since I got it, it just restarts every time I turn the Xbox on

    Xbox one restarts every time I turn it on

    When you say it "restarts" do you mean it loads up like it's coming back from a Hard Reset (loads through the long green xbox logo screen before hitting the dashboard)? If so, check the power settings and make sure it is set to "Instant On" and you have
    the option for shutting down hard drive while off unchecked.

    I'm also having this problem, thought it was The Division doing it, but nope it's when i turn off my wireless xbox one controller, hope they fix this soon as it's annoying having to hard restart my pc every time.
