Hard reset x box to reset controller sync

Discus and support Hard reset x box to reset controller sync in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; why can't you guys figure out how to make the controller not lose sync with the console?     why can't you guys figure out how to make the controller not lose sync with the console? I've had a pair of wireless headphones for over a year now that have literally never once given me a problem, but the x box i paid 400 dollars for can't seem to figure
    it out. Pathetic. #hardresetlife

    Connection problems

    Reset your modem and do a hard reset of x box one by holding the lit up x button on the console not the controller. Hold it until the box turns off. This should help you all.

    Sync issues

    Hi FaintestRoom26,

    I'm sorry to hear that there's issues with the sync button.

    I do know that there's an alternative way to sync your controller to the Xbox One.

    You can sync your controller by connecting it via USB cable to the Xbox, once plugged in do the hard reset to your console.

    Once it's back up try to see if you're able to use your controller wireless, or you can keep it wired.

    Controllers are not syncing

    Be sure that you are pressing the sync button on the console and controller at the same time in order to sync your controller. A hard reset and then performing that usually fixes my syncing issues.

    I did not need help with the OneGuide. As I said, I was not trying to use IR control of the TV. I did a hard reset with the HDMI cable unplugged, and then plugged in the HDMI cable after turning on the X Box (not sure if a hard reset alone would have solved
    it), and I am now enjoying my X Box turning on and off my TV *without* using the connect or any other IR emitter.

    Hard reset your Xbox, and then disconnect your controller via the sync button.

    The sync button on my xbox one x will not work ive tried it all from powering down to the hard reset. Any ideas???
