Hard reset EVERY day...

I've been having the same problem for a few months aswell and i have the day one console with no external harddrive. Its very frustrating having to wait 10 minutes after i get home from work just to get my xbox working.

I have a xbox one s madden console i have to hard reset it almost every day if not multiple times a day.

 

Sometimes games just won't load...

Which games? Certain games have a tendency to not load, best way to do it is to quit out of the games before trying to load up a new one. Hard resetting the console fixes almost every day.

 

Hard reset didn't help me. I still have issues with the console not powering on after being off for a few days. One thing I did notice is that when I first turn off the console with "instant on" enabled the power supply light will be white. "Xbox On" and
controller turn on works. However after about a day of being off the power supply light will turn orange. When this happens I have about a 50-50 chance getting the console to turn on with the controller and "Xbox On" won't work at all.

This is a shame because I have had 3 friends wanting to get an X1 and I told them to hold off till these bugs are fixed.

 

To be honest, I think it's pretty shocking that despite the numerous threads on here with people all experiencing the same issue, that Microsoft continue to ignore us all and won't even acknowledge the problem exists, let alone fix it.

 

Having this issue since November update. It gets worse with some games (like AC Unity), when I go to dashboard the Xbox One freezes. Clearing cache and power cycle are only temporary fixes. We need a system update to fix this.

 

How to get one though? As I said, despite numerous threads over the last couple of months, as far as I'm aware MS have yet to even acknowledge the problem.

Quite bizarre, since one of the big selling points for the One was Instant On mode, and it's been broken for three months now.

 

I think this was fixed in February Update!

I haven't had a single lock up or freeze since the update, and I've been using Instant On a lot, and a lot of multitasking!

 

Same here but I will give it another week or so before I'm satisfied that the issue has been resolved. Would love to hear if more feels the problem is gone after the recent update

It definitely sounds like a problem with the disc drive, it's a very common problem with the Xbox One, unfortunately this happened to me a month after my warranty ran out, I have now found out I can't add additional warranty as it can only be purchased 45
days after the warranty has ran out, so I'm basically left with a useless and worthless overpriced xbox. If you have the warranty i highly recommend you send it off and get it repaired now and definitely consider getting the additional warranty, these xbox
one's are very temperamental.

 

What makes you think it's the disc drive? I've only got one on disc game that's not in the machine, and I've not played it for months, all my other games are digital.

 

Yours should be okay then for the time being. I wish I went with digital downloads, all my games are disc copies.

 

Still happening for me. All my games are digital also so it's not the disc drive.

 

This thread is 4 pages and 50+ replies long now, what do we have to do around here to get some sort of official response?

 

The only way I got mine to work, was a factory reset.
