Hard reboot for old Xbox360

I'm trying to change Microsoft accounts on a 2012 Xbox360s, but only get "Sorry we cant change your Microsoft account, more info on Xbox/com/AccountSwap", other options, like hard reset ends with "A required sorage device has been removed, your console will
no restart" (excpet it doesn't until you actually press restart) and new error codes for every other option I tried.

Please, I've wasted a day of my life on this now. as I see many before me did since 2013.

Before I take a hammer to all things MS, is there a button I can press to hard reset the console?

You might try the following:

Turn the console off, and then hold the Bind button (the small button next to the front USB flap) while you turn on the console on the console's power button.

Keep the Bind button held down, until the dashboard appears.

If that doesn't help, check wich storage device the console is looking for that was supposedly removed.

Do you have a 4GB Xbox 360 with flash memory? Or do you have a console with a large hard drive (250GB and more)?

Check that the hard drive is properly seated in the console by
removing it and inserting it again.

If you have a 4GB Xbox 360, and/or you have made sure the hard drive is properly seated in the console, I'm afraid that either the console (4GB) or the hard drive is defective.

it plugs in on the BOTTOM of your Xbox360S, the old Xbox360 hard drives (the big grey ones) are discontinued and are NOT compatible with the Xbox360S

if you have an OLD Xbox360 hard drive ( the grey ones you plug into the side ), Microshaft has discontinued them........and the Xbox360S hard drives are not compatible with the old Xbox360s....but yet microsoft released a hybrid cable with both connector
types so you can upgrade and transfer your old hard drive data to a new Xbox360S....hmmmm...scammers

I've posted about this before. My XBox360 is a GAMING system. I have invested a considerable amount of money in XBox360 games over the last 7 or so years. If the XBox One can't play my XBox360 games, then it's simply of no use to me. And besides, seriously
now, how hard is it to control your TV or entertainment center the old fashioned way?
