    Hard reboot constantly required to connect to Live


    Every time I turn my console on it doesn't connect to Live at first. After a hard reboot it connects just fine with an open NAT.

    Xbox Live Down?

    Is it down for anyone? I tried logging on 3 times, wired/wireless connection, hard reboot. Nothing. It will connect to the internet, but not Live. On top of that all tests I run say everything is fine. Wtf?

    Hard Reboot Required Every Day

    I had same exact issue and have found a fix. Please try this and if it works for others reply here so the ambassadors can sticky and or notify tech support.

    First. Have access to the back of you console

    Second. Turn off console via hard reset.

    Third. Once back on turn off console normal way, push button on front of console.

    This will cause Xbox logo to blink a few times before turning off completely.

    Forth, while off if you look at your power brick you will see a light that is white.

    Fifth, push and hold the Xbox bottom on front of console till the white light on the brink blinks orange.

    This rests brick, and doesn't turn on console.

    Sixth, unplug the power cable from back of console AND kinect cable.

    Seventh, Waite 30 secs, reconnect all turn on system and enjoy playing again.

    Controller constantly disconnects and requires console reboot

    I had the exact same issue with the controller that came with the Xbox as well as the Elite controller I have currently. I did an update with the accessories I use (turtle beach headset) connected to the controller by wiring the controller in via USB to
    the Xbox and selecting accessories in the settings menu. On the rare occasion it happened after I did this, I would frantically wire the controller into the Xbox via USB and it synced right back up. I know it's not the most convenient solution, but it helped

    Similar issue here, but the only times it's happened have been when the controller shut itself off whilst the MCC is running.

    Maybe it is to do with external drives, I got mine around the same time as the last update. Whatever it is, just ignoring us and hoping we go away is not my idea of good customer support.

    Previous to getting the external drive and the update, I only had to do a hard reset once in the two months I'd my One, since then it's not far off every single time I start it up. I love the quick start and the automatic downloads which is why I put up
    with all the messing about, but it's not working as advertised and needs fixing.
