  1. Hard drives and Internet connectivity

My network is down for a few days, and i want to play games still. I tried taking my external from my personal console, to my “home console”, and no games from the external are appearing. Can someone give me one valid reason why i need internet to read
off a stupid drive, before i sledgehammer these worthless pieces of junk?

    :)

Sometimes the console need time to read the hard drives. Try to use any game Installed on you console (internal) then close the game and see if shows your games.

Check how much free space is shown. If it's all the drive, then your games may have been deleted when you moved from one console to the other.

Its reading the drive. I get the notification saying the external drive is ready, yet my games will not appear. Its absolutely ridiculous that i have to be connected, to swap my drive to another console, which is in fact my home console 🤦‍♂️

    RoflCopter1239,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your External Harddrive.

Xbox requires internet connection for your Xbox Account to pair up and sync with the games.

I would recommend talking with XBOX Live Support:

Hope this gets rectified very quickly!

    Kind Regards,

Te correct space is showing, im guessing its a sync issue, which makes no sense if im not connected on either console. Honestly connectivity requirements make no sense. I just want to play my games while my internet is down, and i cant do that because
of this. The console is a paperweight until my connection is back up, and thats really frustrating.
