    Hard drive toast, how to load DLC on new harddrive


    My hard drive crashed, I bought and installed a new one but I can't get the map packs to re download to the new hard drive

    Xbox 360 question

    If you have a hard drive turn the console off, pull the hard drive, put it back on then see if your stuff is back. if not your hard drive is probably toast, go to Settings -> Storage and see if the hard drive shows up. If it shows up as unformatted or
    as having significantly less free space than you expect then it's probably toast. If it doesn't show up it's almost certainly toast.

    Hard drive died. Installed new hard drive. Now nothing from Xbox Live

    I installed a new hard drive because my other one puked. How do I sign in to my old Xbox live account that was on the old machine's harddrive?

    All other games seem to be ok.... Not halo reach .... Picture pacs are there but no map packs etc

    Are you trying to redownload them from your download history and getting an error or is it another issue?

    mister darcy- if i put my harddrive into another xbox and it wasnt loading, would trying an ethernet connection even make any difference? or should i just get a new hard drive?

    12 Games? Really?

    Games need to be installed to the hard drive because the Blu-ray drive doesn't read and transfer the game data fast enough. Installing it to the hard drive allows that to increase load times .

    I would suggest purchasing an external harddrive
