  1. Hard drive to hard drive game copy

I have an Xbox one x, a 4 Terabyte Seagate, 2 T Seagate and a 4 Terabyte WD. My problem is I cannot transfer or copy Ark the base game anywhere or in any combination of the hard drives. I can copy or transfer Scorched Earth or aberration dlc's but not the
base game. I have tried hard resetting the console and unplugging the hard drives multiple times. Does anyone else have this issue?

    :)

  2. License Transfer Problems + Shared DLC

    I figured it out.

You will need a thumb drive.

    1. Copy your file on to the thumb drive.
    2. Copy the DLC on to the thumb drive.
    3. Take the old hard drive out.
    4. Place the new hard drive in.
    5. Copy all the data on the thumb drive for the game you have DLC for on to the new hard drive.
It should work on the new hard drive now, it did for me.

if having trouble, i know its a pain in the butt, but set one of your hard drives to install all new content, and delete and reinstall the game i know it will take time but it should clear out what clearly is a bug issue

Have you tried any of the steps at
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-ph/help/4026106/xbox-one-manage-space

Which storage device do you have set as the default install device? You could try uninstalling the base game, and then re-downloading it to one of the other storage devices.

Out of curiosity, was the Ark base game a disc install, or a digital download?

yes you can play all your games from your hard drive you can plug a 3.0 hard drive in to the new xbox series x and can copy xbox series x games to the hard drive but you will need to copy them back to the xbox if you want to play them again

Xbox 360 Slim 250gb Clicking Sound, Freezing/Lagging with some games?

During normal operation a hard drive should be nearly silent. Clicking sounds coming from any hard drive (click of death) is a very bad sign that means that hard drive failure is coming. Immediately copy your game saves to the cloud drive or move them to
a USB drive and don't use your hard drive for any game saves until you replace it. Your hard drive can fail at any time so the sooner you replace it the better.
