Hard Drive STILL NOT Formatting

If anyone is wondering - I tried ALL of the options and I am still not having any luck. Honestly, who I feel bad for is the people in the above thread who have over 9 years saved stuff and such. I am not even close to that and even willing to format
my harddrive and lose it all and start over - but IT STILL WON'T LET ME FORMAT THIS! I think I have to agree with the persons in the thread I linked here, it DOES have to do with an update. I was JUST about to download my game from my HD but I was sick
of the Update" screen popping up. See, when I FIRST got this new box360E - I put in my Slim 250 HD and it was working fine. I did the update and now it is all of the sudden not formatted? And when I go to say - screw it - I will just start over
( i just started this like a year ago off and on ) it still keeps saying its not Formatted.

To the mods here. PLEASE do not send me the links to " to format your hard drive - click here" or " to remove and put your hard drive back in - click here" like you did in the above mentioned thread. I find it insulting and a lazy approach to
customer service. If you are still having this problem - I am willing to bet we tried to things first.

SO Xbox People/Microsoft people -- Please provide me an answer for my issue and I think you should help out the people in the above mentioned thread too, if they haven't been already. I would be *** if that was me. But I am willing to reformat
my hard drive -- so please explain why it won't let me do it.

No, i have the hard drive.

So.....

Hard drive = an emulator = still no BC games.

 

More than just a gaming console

^I would think no, because the data may be saved on the portable hard drive, but your profile is still on the normal hard drive. Not 100% sure though.

 

Hey there, Quiet XO Sniper! Sorry to see that you're unable to format your hard drive!

If you haven't already and are able to, can you try your hard drive in another console for me to see if that works for you? If it is unable to be formatted in another console, it sounds like the hard drive is failing. At that point, you should purchase another
hard drive.

However, if you are able to format it, then plug it back into your console. If it works, wonderful! We got it sorted out! If it doesn't, then there may be something wrong with your console's hard drive port. We'll want to get your console repaired if that's
the case. You can do this by either
contacting support or using our Online Service Center.

In regards to the locking down threads, moderators do that if the threads haven't been posted in by the original poster for a certain amount of time. We would like to help customers, like yourself, out on an individual basis, and it's best to create your own
thread to do that. Miss Diggz even stated that. We aren't trying to avoid helping people, we're trying to help them out individually because every case is slightly different. Take your own - You can't even format your hard drive, which is different than what
the original poster in that linked thread had an issue with.

Hopefully we can get this sorted out for you. Please post back your results so that others can see what ended up resolving this for you!
