hard drive space

but what good is that johnbury ? so we now have to power up external harddrives then they fill up then what lol ive got 300+ games on the 360 imho they need to you turn and go bk to the way the xbox runs the games as running games off an external hard drive
isnt going to be great is it

So an extra £200.00 to max out external storage because the One can't manage more than 342.5GB of data?

Who in their right mind is going to "cheer" about that?

I see your point. It would be nice to have the choice to play from either the hard drive or the game disc (do you remember that, and you could take the disk to your mates house and play it on his/her Xbox too! ).

I for one got a bit ticked off waiting for new overlays to load on the 360 (depending on the game).

It's all a temporary issue until we get ubiquitous Mega / Terra Bit broadband and games are bought / rented from the cloud with storage space included in the game cost!... It'll come! I'm sure I saw the BT van down our street last week!!

lol ive got a way to go i can only get 3mb broadband due to living out in the sticks most of the games now are massive so storage is always going to be there i think ,i tried installing DayZ on my external pc last night and it ran badly so not sure how
its going to handle a xbox one game unless as said they make us buy there own drives (ssd)

eeither way junes going to be expensive lol

 

I think it's kinda stupid that people who bought the Xbox one early on only get 500gb when they are now releasing them with twice that amount. I think people who were faithful and got one early on should at least get something to help with the hard drive
space.

 

^We did, support for external storage. Which works out much better value than the extra 500gb in the 1tb version.

 

I'm in the habit of deleting games that I've completed and have little chance of going back to. Having finished Lego Marvel recently it was instantly deleted. You can always reinstall a game that you fancy having a go on as your saves are all still there.
