    Hard Drive Problems


    So I've owned an Xbox One Hard Drive for nearly 6 months, and recently my Xbox (Console) has stopped detecting it. My home Xbox isn't at my home right now, so I can't even play most of my games. I tried everything from buying a new wire to hard restarting
    and unplugging. If anyone knows how to resolve this, please enlighten me.

    Hard drive problem

    For the past few months my hard drive would just crash on my xbox while playing games. Recently it has happened more often. I have a SATA 1.0TB hard drive. Is there a certain setting that's causing the problem or is it the hard drive itself. I have a lot of storage on their that I would hate to lose. I'm sure its not an overheating problem because I would turn the hard drive on for the first time that day and it would crash in the first few minute. Please help if you can, its annoying the crap out of me.

    do you have that box checked that says "turn off external devices on standby" or something like that? That might be the issue.

    Ownage is correct, thats the main reason you always see the warning telling you not to turn off the game when you see the saving icon. It's doesnt even have to be your fault either. I've been unlucky enough a few times to have a game freeze while saving
    manually or when triggering an autosave spot.

    Go to the console where you transfered the app's, games, profile's. download your xbox live profile to the console where the data was transfered. If your doing this right it will prompt you to enter ur microsoft email and password
