    Hard Drive Problems


    Hey guys, I just bought destiny and xbox live for my girlfriend's lil brother, but when I tested it before I give it to him, it says he needs a hardrive to play the game. I'm looking for advice on the best hardrive to get for an Xbox 360 slim at a price
    of £50 or under. Please give me advice/links so I can sort this out asap. Hard Drive Problems :)

    Hard drive problem

    For the past few months my hard drive would just crash on my xbox while playing games. Recently it has happened more often. I have a SATA 1.0TB hard drive. Is there a certain setting that's causing the problem or is it the hard drive itself. I have a lot of storage on their that I would hate to lose. I'm sure its not an overheating problem because I would turn the hard drive on for the first time that day and it would crash in the first few minute. Please help if you can, its annoying the crap out of me.

    do you have that box checked that says "turn off external devices on standby" or something like that? That might be the issue.

    I had the same issue...you can go to amazon and search for xbox360 hard drive shell and get one for around $5 then get a hard drive from the old white consoles and just open that up remove the drive and put it into the empty shell...it takes about 2 minutes
    to do and it worked like a champ for me...i just got an old 20 gig HD all in all cost me $25

    On amazon, they have Xbox 360 Slim 250GB HDD's for $40-45. They work amazing, the only downside is you can't play original xbox games on it. But for the price, you can't really beat it and you won't have to worry about space.

    Ownage is correct, thats the main reason you always see the warning telling you not to turn off the game when you see the saving icon. It's doesnt even have to be your fault either. I've been unlucky enough a few times to have a game freeze while saving
    manually or when triggering an autosave spot.

    Go to the console where you transfered the app's, games, profile's. download your xbox live profile to the console where the data was transfered. If your doing this right it will prompt you to enter ur microsoft email and password
