    Hard drive not displaying


    Hi

    I have had a hard drive for quite some time now and never had an issue with it. However i had to unplug it from my console to pack it away when I moved house recently. When i tried to plug it back in to use it wasnt even showing up on the storage screen.
    I have tried a hard reboot and all the usb slots to try and get it to work however i still have the issue. Is there anything else I should try. I am reluctant to format it because it has close to 30 games installed to it and i dont want to loose them.

    Are you using a USB hub by chance to connect this hard drive? If not, you may have to format it unfortunately.
    Im just plugging the hard drive into a USB slot. Not sure what what a hub is

    Just reinstalling your hard drive basically? whats that got to do with reseting the display and such?? Mine is reseting display and turning off and on after it does that.... driving me nuts!

    I got the Hard Drive with the Xbox I currently have. I tried it with an other hard drive and it worked for a bit, but now it froze and it displays the same error.

    Hello, pdegiorgi

    Sadly there is no separate way to display games, in the My games and Apps where a game will be excluded from display.

    I actually keep my games on a separate hard drive and when i unplug my hard drive the games are saved on it but not on the console. That may be the better option for you.
