Hard drive isn't letting me play my downloaded games

Well no you are forgetting the most important things

All series games.And patched games (you can see it on your library) cannot run on slow drives this includes games that have the FPS BOOSTER and hdr enhancements

So moving them from internal memory already patched won't let it be runned

You must move it back to storage card or internal

The only way to avoid this is to install the game and reinstall directly onto the slow drive

You can select this by your storage app

OptimiEd and patched vs bc titles Can be sorted as such

So I purchased a 1 TB Toshiba drive. System formatted it and recognized it just fine. I went to re-download the F1 game today, but it will only let me download it to the internal hard drive. So when downloading free/purchased games, do you first have
to download them to the internal drive (or a 32 GB flash drive) and then move it to the external hard drive? And then once you've done that, can you play the games directly off the external hard drive?

I added one later, so there isn't any way I can play xbox originals with my hard drive? Other downloaded games work fine.

Have you attempted to download the game to your hard drive and play it from there? Even if a disk is scratched or damaged it should let you play from the hard drive as long as the disk is in the drive.

Hey Fizzle, thank you for your response. I tried the second remedy you suggested and the game downloaded but wouldn't let me play. Said to try downloading it again. As for the flash drive, how do I download directly to it? When I go to BL2 download screen,
the only option is hard drive. Can I only transfer from the hard drive to the flash drive?
