Hard Drive Glitch

I NEED HELP

Every time i go on my xbox one to play any game or launch any app my game/app crashes and a "Hard Drive External Storage Is Ready" notification comes up. I bought my hard drive June last year and ever since the notification keeps coming up but recently it
has been happening more frequently. It really is starting to annoy me because while i watch YouTube or Netflix or play COD it crashes the game/app.

PLEASE I NEED A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM !!!

I put in a 64 GB flash drive into my xbox 360 and suddenly I realize I have 59.4 GB free?

I know about the limit of gb you can have with an external hard drive (32 GB) and my 100 gb hard drive shows as 32 gb yet my 64 gb shows over 32? Did
I glitch it? Because I used this flash drive before and it showed up as 32 gb but I didn't need it anymore but now I do, so... Did I glitch it?

Sound Cutting Out

installed to hard drive and ive had glitches, sound going out in MP,and total freezing of my 360

If its the HDD causing the problem then I'd recommend moving all your current game saves to another hard drive. Not all hard drives are compatible or work particularly well with the xbox one and this is mainly down to either the size of the HDD or the manufacturer.
Can you get back to me on how big the hard drive actually is and the manufacturer. thanks.

It no longer Detects the hard drive and I've checked the ports and they seem to be functioning just fine

By stop working do you mean your Xbox can no longer read/detect the hard drives or is the installed and saved data on the hard drive corrupted?

Hi,

If a hard drive is becoming unformatted again and again it likely leads to a problem with the hard drive itself, not the update, honestly.

It's likely that your specific hard drive has a problem reading/writing at the same time, and when something like that happens (an update) that requires both downloading -> reading -> writing (to the hard drive), it's likely that it's glitching or crashing
in some instance.

I'd suggest changing your hard drive out if you're experiencing this each and every time.
