    Have X box slim with 250 internal hard drive. Couldnt update due to not enought space??? used usb and got in. Why is hard drive full? how do I clear space? thanks? trying to figure out for my daughter and grandson. much appreciated.

    Also, If you need to clear space you would just have to uninstall a game or two

    Any external hard drives used need to be 256 gigs or higher with a 2.0 usb. How much space is left on your hard drive now currently ? When you go to manage games and apps what does it show percent wise?

    Thank you, his games are all on the discs that you insert. do they save data on the drive? Not sure how I access the hard drive to delete things as I have never used an xbox and am just learning. Thanks

    Hard Drive Full.

    The hard drive is full because of everything that has been installed. In order to clear space you would have to delete some games/apps.
