    Hi !

    I need some help with hard drive space on XBOX 360 ! My son's always lack space when it comes to their games.

    I wanted to buy 3To hard drive (WD My passport) brand hard drive. Do you think they will have enough

    space for awhile on there ? And any hard drive is compatible right ?

    A hard drive issue should not give you 3 red rings.

    Have you tried another hard drive?

    Hard Drive Error

    I'm sorry you are experiencing this problem. Some suggestions:

    1. Remove the hard drive.

    2. Check the connectors to see if they are dirty or bent.

    3. Reseat the hard drive.

    4. Replace the hard drive.

    Hard drive 3 To ?

    The 360 can only support a hard drive up to 2TB, so purchasing a 3TB would be a bit much. 2TB should be plenty of space.

    Seagate brand hard drives are the only ones with known issues.

    Your choice of HDD is fantastic. WD makes great drives. Just buy a 2 Tb drive and you should be fine.

    3TB of additional storage for consoles is a lot, so I don't think it will fill up any time soon. Just keep in mind that the system operates with FAT32 format, which can support drives up to 2TB in size. Of course you can still use it, but you won't be able
    to use the full capacity but rather you'll be limited to 2TB from the 3TB you have.
