Hard disk noise normal?

If it sounds like in that video then I would say its faulty. I've never heard a hard drive that loud in my life.

That quote is featured on a whole lot of creditable news websites. My advice even without reading those news articles would be to go to the page below register the console with its serial number and set up a replacement order. to find the serial number do
this" press the menu button on your controller, choose settings, then system, then console Id, keep in mind the console Id is not the serial number, the serial number just shows on the console Id screen. You can also find the serial number on the bottom of
the xbox one.

So i have the opposite, mine doesn't make noise in the the menu's but when i am ingame the harddisk seems to start making static noise (as if its working) of 50dB (when i put my phone on it with an app running)

What should i do?

How would it work if i got a replacement? Do all my games + xboxlive transfer? How do i do that?

From what i have read some consoles are louder then others with this issue but its all the same issue. My Xbox i cannot hear the HDD at all in it i can hear a pin drop but not the console. It's an unfortunate issue, it seems to be wide spread. I am unsure
what HDD's they use if they are all the same so you possibly have a noisy one. Do you get the noise idol in the Dash as well?
