Hi not sure if I am posting this under the correct section or not but I am being verbally and physically threatened and harassed in game I have done every thing I can to avoid them I have been DDOSED they have threatened to give my gamer tag/IP address
to more hackers everything I have had to change passwords create new accounts. I have contacted your live chat support service about this I went online to change my GT to get clear of them and I must have used my free GT change some time ago because the option
isn't there so now I contacted the police about the physical threats part they basically laughed so now I am stuck with two options and they win with both options I have to pay to change my GT which case they are laughing because I had to spend MONEY to get
clear of them or two have your support team create me a new account in which cause I lose hundreds of dollars of DLC. I don't want anymore trouble or bs I don't have the money at the moment or the near feature to pay to change my GT as I am self employed as
discussed with the chat agent. I don't think its very fair that with my current options the people I *** off by stating I don't cheat and want nothing more to do with you guys get to win no matter which option I pick I shouldn't have to pay to get clear of
harassment or lose money I invested into your guys services and other companies games especially EA titles.

additionally you should file a complaint against each gamertag you know how is related to this abusive behavior

 

In addition to filing complaints you should also block communication with them.

The free gamertag change is only available for the first 30 days of an account when the system has given you a randomly generated tag. After that, you have to pay. There is no way to get a free change.

 

I refuse to pay for a Gamer Tag change for reporting and not wanting to cheat at a game its that simple I shouldn't have to pay to escape from harassment I don't have to pay the cops to respond to my front door nore would I have to pay a cellphone company
to change my number if nothing is done as I was told to post here by the live chat support I will be contacting both the BBB and my local RCMP detachment threats were made against ME and MY family is and everyone wants me TO PAY to protect myself.

 

Well the thing is you are social engineering you are using the most commonly used template which you should take up the issue of the name change with the said moder forums

Which you really should do because they lied to you and didn't tell you what you were asking for

Its not a free name change

What they told you to say doesn't work because of the said steps above

Cops will investigate and if you lie they won't do a thing they operate by proof not just you being cheap

In order for the thing you are askingyour name has to violate the terms of use

If it does you get a random name change and a mark against your record

And too many name changes or violations of the terms of use can result in a perma suspension of your account

It is better to live life and play fair

Maybe you should ask your moder forums for the money for the name change you will get farther

 

Hate to tell you but money should be the least of your problems if you are threatened my first call would be to the police dept not a free name change

And the steps actually do work as people pointed out

Not to mentiona name change won't solve your problem IP doesn't change with a name change

Maybe you should rethink your priorities

 

I personally hope Microsoft starts issuing bans for posts like this. You are not being harassed. You're following a social engineering tutorial trying to get a free name change. This is easily determined by the fact that you're more concerned about a name
change rather than contacting local police for the activity (threats, harassment, DDoS etc) that you claim is going on.

 

I have contacted the police and you know what they told me idle threat *** off and don't waste our time that simple contacted my ISP same deal just release your IP for a few hours and then let it get the same IP address doesn't matter anyway I resolved the
issue without the help of Microsoft now because R* games banned the morons for the harassment.

I suggest you rethink your priorities

yes the police officer is correct as stated by the above advice your option is to change your ip to prevent further attacks but if you really had a person harassing you it wasn't r games because the people can still use xbox live if that was the case

a police officer would never say that unless you were giving a false report

it is illegal for them to refuse a case of threating of your life or safety

unless you were making an false report and admitted it to them just to get a fake case FYI it is also illegal to file a false police report

since you are using a commonly used template I suggest you use your time more wisely

 

Hi A gamer by the name of [Mod Removed - Please don't name and shame] keeps booting me offline and what happens is my entire internet is shutdown for around 10 minutes and he does this whenever he wants

I have a kid harassing me non stop and I have been reporting his messages as they come in. I told him if it keeps up I will post his gamer tag online and he will be bombarded with messages.
