Harassment and Mod/Glitches

I have noticed, specifically on Grand Theft Auto V, that there has been quite a lot of players that have been "invincible" or "immortal". I know it is nothing new to the forum, but I would like to bring it to everyone's attention once again. My friend
and I have also been dealing with harassment/ bullying on xbox live. Especially on Grand Theft Auto V. I as a fellow gamer, will not tolerate this behavior. Xbox Live, or xbox in general is not meant for such actions. What I have been experiencing is crude
messages, name calling, hateful actions, and even stalking/ following. I wish for everyone who agrees, we as a community need to fight back. I block, report, and even go onto xbox.com support chat if it gets belligerent. Please do the same! Abuse, cyber or
not, is still abuse! As for the glitches/mods, I hope Xbox and Rockstar will get this resolved. It is time for a change. Thank you for reading through this. If any questions arise, contact me via xbox or email if I do not reply on here.

This is for Xbox, which my account is suspended for Communication and Harassment Abuse and Threats. Im fine with the Communication Suspension, But I did nothing to deserve the Harassment suspension. unless you can send the evidence for my harassment abuse

Please do not encourage other users to violate the forum guidelines. The only way to report a player is to use the given tools on your console. It's not allowed to report other players on the forums.

For your own safety, please do never post personal details like email addresses or full names.

 

It is good to know that you are more than likely one of those people. I did not violate anything. It is MY information. As for reporting, I report just as anyone else. People over look reporting. I am merely stating that people need to start. If you would
simply read what I wrote once again, you will simply see that I am letting people be aware of such behavior. I know what is of code and is not. Now, as for the Grand Theft Auto Online case; I can handle it, thank you very much. But I WILL NOT tolerate it!

It's definitely good advice to have people report via the tools of the console like blocking and such. It appeared in the opening post that you were referring people to the forums which, of course, isn't a place to report such behavior. Letting them know
to make sure they utilize these tools (as you have) is sound advice. If you're dealing with a lot of hatred and stalking on Xbox Live there are plenty of things you can do to protect yourself. I get a lot of attention sometimes and it never gets beligerent
because the person is blocked and reported and I don't respond. I let the Enforcement team speak for me. Not engaging these people and just pushing their garbage to the garbage collectors is the fastest way to get them gone.

Crazy definitely saved you a TON of grief by removing your email. Those same stalkers and people like them are reading these threads and when they see an email it usually gets spammed, signed up for porn site newsletters, spread around the bowels of the
internet. This is true for anywhere and not just Xbox.com but you shouldn't post an email publicly and especially when you're fighting trolls because they'll be all to happy to make you regret it.

So if I am reading this correctly I should just file complaint and hope that everything gets resolved? So if that doesnt work people should just sit and take it? My daughter is constantly being stalked by people online, and she has been hacked twice. But
what happens to the hackers......NOTHING. Reported, ignored and blocked did everything you have suggested but he just changes accounts and keeps doing it. she has started using my account because she is afraid to get on hers. I have noticed a growing trend
of people saying "i will hack your account, say bye bye to it" had someone just 10 minutes ago say that to me and i have it recorded, his gt is
[Mod removed]. But just like everyone else that we have reported nothing will happen. I know they are trying but what i am getting at is the "Enforcement Team" needs to step up.

 

I'd have to agree with mnster, but at the same time with lil nikki. I also have run into these same annoying issues from these little monsters who get on xbl not for the sole purpose of what its designed for, but to troll and bully anyone and everyone they
come into contact with, regardless what game they're playing, and I am a 34 yr old gamer myself recieving said hate texts and things of that nature from one time to another. its actually deterred from ever wanting to play mp on anything anymore, whether its
black ops zombies or gta5 online, they are mostly unsupervised children who have no business playing to begin with, so I can fully relate to lil nikki and understand completely where he/she is coming from as far as the clear and obvious frustrations that follow
in the initial post, so what if the email or name was included, obviously that person has nothing but the honest intent and sincerity to address these juvenile actions to the general public, something of which alot of those are too afraid to do or have done
with no resolve. one should not need to constantly block, review, report practically every single time they or their children get on xbl JUST to play. kind of defeats the whole purpose and completely takes all the fun out of owning any entertainment console.
however it isnt only children that are the trolls that hide behind their tv bullying others, so allow me to clarify on that much as I have run into on several occassions full grown adults behaving as such. so yes I too believe he enforcement department, as
it as it may, needs to be alittle more attentive and realize this is happening more often than not. I personally would love to get on and do co-op on any of my favorite games, possibly make new friends in the process even, versus always having to play solo,
that gets old after awhile...as does the trolling/stalking/raging, or the fellers daughter being so afraid to use hers shes gotta use her fathers? man thats b.s., it shouldnt be that bad! being a father of two daughters myself. I have zero tolerance for that
and will gladly pass out the reports like candy or just assume contact them directly. so I say either grow up and play nice or stay off xbl all together, go troll mommy or daddy and leave the real gaming to those of us who want to play like its intended.

 

There is a small disclaimer about Xbox LIVE experiences (and I can't remember exactly what it says). It can't be controlled even by Microsoft. The only thing you can do is report the player and move on.

mnster357, I highly doubt that your daughter got hacked through Xbox 360. It is extremely unlikely to actually get hacked by Xbox LIVE simply because Xbox 360 is not a PC. Only a very talented individual could hack the session right then and there. What
mostly happened is her email was compromised or broken into. Does she change it on a 75-day occasion? Are you using strong passwords? If a person gets hold of your password, they then get a hold of your account. What I suggest is changing the password to something
really strong (you can find out how to do this on Google). You should also make sure that you have a dynamic IP Address as a static one can eventually be cracked just like a password.

 

Just call M$ and work with them to get her name changed and then set up a new email address that is only for Xbox and go from there. Have her go thru her friends list and weed out the people you both feel like are more harm then good.
