    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

k, it's a bit early, but since I am ahead time wise with everyone on this forum (I live in NZ), I thought I'D be the FIRST to create this fun thread, wooo. I'm in holiday in Sydney which it's set to be 38'C today. If you live in this corner of the world,
it's the long summer holidays for us.

It's currently 29/12/2016 (US peeps may not use this date format) 8:08 AM in Sydney. Will also be attending the 9pm new years eve, and midnight, fireworks. I heard they will be putting on an additional 350 double decker trains too.

Where ever you live, I hope you have a fun and happy new year. If anyone wants to do a countdown, that's fine. And if a moderator pops on here, this is a fun thread please don't remove it, Xbox could use some fun if Microsoft wants to not turn this forum
into a ghost town with all the fun people gone.

    Happy New Year ^u^

    :)

Huh? I thought that New Year's Eve fell on the day before New Year's Day? So technically, this being a Thursday - two whole days before NYE - it's kinda premature to be slinging the cheer and confusing all those *angry internet nerds* who are too busy posting
angry comments about their useless Xbox Ones! I live in Aussie too (g'day mate!), and have visited Sydney in the past, but I don't recall seeing any "double decker" trains! Are you sure you don't mean BUSES, smileskybird? Maybe you're a little jet-laggy? HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :p

Happy New Thursday, btw! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :)

Nope, there ARE double decker trains in Sydney. I've visited Sydney in December last year and the
year before. They operate especially around Central Station and Circular Quay, they're like 8-12 roughly carriages and double decker too. Sydney does have New Zealand's ENTIRE population even more, living in the city. I like the management of the trains too.
Got an Opal card. How long ago did you last visit Sydney?

Been to Lunar Rides which has this really kwl (cool) summer ride called the Avenger. Met some girls on it. The ride has 3 staff people, one at the
ticket checker thingy, and another two, and actually a 4th person too in the control booth playing the music. There was really cool blonde dude in like his 20s or 30s he was really great. "arms up arms up keep them there" "arms up, not you, you smell" and
wiggle into your seats so that you don't fall out (shoulder restraints). Also went to Taronga Zoo yesterday and did jet boating on Wednesday too. Will be doing jet boating another two times today too! 30 minute sessions with Thunderjet. And we booked during
the December sales period instead of paying AU$79 we paid only AU$55. In New Zealand, Queenstown does jet boating for a whopping NZ$170 or around that. Everything just seems a lot cheaper here in Australia than NZ, especially wages are a lot better too. Exceptions
are buying means everyday in Sydney and staying at the Mercure Sydney, 5 mins walk from central train station.

Coming back to Auckland arriving 9pm on 2 Jan and will be going to Rainbows End 3x (a really good
amusement park), the zoo and sky tower. Mercure Sydney Reception said it's best to get down to Circular Quay by 12 noon lunch time if you want a spot to view the new years eve fireworks. It'll be the first time I've seen the Sydney NYE fireworks. And yuh I
can tell the difference between a TRAIN and a BUS. Arrived in Sydney 27th Dec 8am. It was only a 3 hour flight from NZ/home. Maybe if we flew to Los Angeles I would DEFINETLY not be use to sitting in my chair of plan conditions for like 12 hours. The internet
in Sydney is a bit crappy though. I know Sydney Public Transport is A LOT cheaper than Auckland and other cities in NZ. Sydney Ferry Ride 15 minutes only like AU$6. Try that in NZ and expect to pay like NZ$20. And NZ citizens get to live in Australia with
no visa required due to the relationship between our governments, we just don't not entitled to some things that an Australian citizen is.

It's 30 Dec 8:54 am Sydney NSW time. Happy holidays peeps (or have a good day).

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Do you want me to create one?? Maybe if I were really bored (which I'm not) I might. The reason why I did this thread early is cuz some American poster beat me to it last year, and he was 3 DAYS early, no count that 4 days since Americans are like a day
behind us. Well at least I've refrained from mentioning my PC specs again, having too much fun outdoors, so have been distracted lately.

I'm looking forward to Halo Wars 2 coming out 2017. There moderators (wait do any of them still come on here?), I said something about Xbox, lol, have a great day!

Thanks for the info, smileskybird! In fact, thanks for *too much* info HAPPY NEW YEAR!! o_O

Perhaps I'm worrying unnecessarily, or perhaps I've been warned incessantly about STAYING SAFE ONLINE, but it does appear that you've given out your entire itinerary in the space of a paragraph (without taking a breath, it would seem HAPPY NEW YEAR!! :p). Smileskybird, your
enthusiasm and zest for life is infectious, but do please be careful when posting precise details about your life, mm'kay? I know it's a stretch, but the world isn't always rife with sunshine and lollipops. I hope you're traveling with an entourage or family
group, because now that the world knows where you're staying, I'd be mindful of strangers in the midst *insert ominous music*

When did I last visit Sydney? Erm, I forgot, but am pretty sure they was still building that big COATHANGER thing what passes for a bridge! *insert sarcasm*

I would love for it to be 38° here just once. The hottest it got was about 4 years ago it went to 27° and that was for 1 day. I like living in Ireland, but I hate the weather. It's the only thing I miss about home besides all my friends and family. Home
being Philly where it gets hotter than 38° sometimes. I love blazing heat.

Happy News to you too Smileskybird.

Happy new year and have fun everyone. Bluswirl when you use the internet, there is no such thing as privacy. and thats a fact. websites can track your geographic location. at least i dont give my numbers address dob etc, i just get carried away. i love that
coathanger bridge in sydney went to the new years fireworks, and that really is awesome. gotta have some fun. its january 1 10:11 pm sydney time. firworks is amazing and is like the biggest new years event in the southern hemisphere. Better than spending 24/7
    being bored on here.

Kinda agree with Ubisofts year being bad, they only saved it with Far Cry 3. GRFS was not good, AC3 i cant comment on as i have yet to play it but ive seen some pretty scathing attacks on it.

As for what im looking forward too, Probably Bioshock Infinite and GTA5 right now, Oh and Tomb Raider.
