    Am I the only one who saw this little video tile on the X1 last night? It was one of the smaller tiles below Major Nelson's weekly thing.

    I have to say, it got me excited. I also have to say that I'm not at all surprised with the direction they took. In fact, I expected it.

    *Mild spoiler*< but only if you want to watch the video before reading my excited rambling lol.

    I really expected them to do just what they did. If you watch the video, it's pretty obvious that the ship you see is headed away from our galaxy and towards Andromeda (obviously). The narrative about how we are always exploring and pushing limits is cool...
    and a certain part, which goes something like "...we explore because of our insatiable curiosity, or our fear of what could happen if we don't..." and "...we will always be with you..."

    The fact that it was narrated by Shepard 'herself' and ended with "This is Commander Shepard, signing off."

    My personal take on this is:

    They decided to have a ship built, in the same secrecy as the Catalyst, during the events of ME3. A perhaps desperate, last ditch 'backup plan' for survival. You could kind of call it an Ark for the galaxy's species. That ship would leave and head toward
    Andromeda in total secrecy with the exception of a very select number of people, so that the Reapers wouldn't know about it, or its departure. They could only hope for the best in their journey... and as an inspiration to the ship's crew and occupants, they
    asked Shepard to record that short speech to help with morale.

    I think N7 day would have been more successful and more rewarding for the people who chose to play if alongside the N7 loyalty pack they had made all the other packs half price.

    Other than that for the MP actual game side of things it was almost an after thought.

    [/quote]I glanced over some of it but I'm not much into "cosplay" or social media like Twitter so it didn't really intrigue me with the contests they were having for submitting photos and such. Come to think of it I honestly don't think I've used Twitter
    since I created an account back when the BioWare Bazaar was going on.

    The prizes were pretty decent for those contests from the looks of it however. Still though it doesn't beat what the Bazaar had to offer, they pretty much went all out for that and I was hoping they would hold something similar for the people that couldn't
    partake in it due to restrictions and what better day to do it than N7 Day. There was a decent sale in the BioWare store as well so that was nice I suppose but I didn't make any purchases.

    I don't think N7 Day was overhyped or anything like that as let's face it we do live in a social media driven world so of course they were going to have that be one of the primary things to focus on, but I do think more in-game centric events would've been
    great to partake in no matter if it was for multiplayer or single player. As like you and many others have said the N7 Loyalty Pack and N7 Day challenge was underwhelming at best no matter if you nabbed a great new character/weapon or etc.

    I'm not disappointed though I had a good time when I was able to play yesterday and even today as the event was extended. Using one of the basic Human classes made me appreciate all the other class types even more though that's for sure.
