Hanging after a game, rosette appears, no reward, hangs ...

I am seeing this behaviour in the past day or two. What has changed to make MS Solitaire Daily Challenges impossible to play?

Far Cry 5: Creators Workshop and Hype Thread

I sort of didn't like Far Cry and all since 1. But I really love these games that have that hang out aspect after the game. I think Far Cry 5 is gonna be a game you can really hang out in and from looks of it, they might have got the formula perfected.

Check if you received a reward for the challenge. My challenge shows no progress at all but I received my reward so check that as well.

I have been noticing something very similar. Immediately after a reboot, I can successfully launch Microsoft Solitaire, get logged in, see the daily challenges and launch one. When I complete the challenge, the screen freezes and the app hangs. I have
tried resetting the Microsoft Store. I have checked for updates, and I'm on the most current version.

If I close out of Solitaire and try to restart it (or, alternatively, if I launch Solitaire after the system has been running for a while), either the app will repeat the opening graphic in an infinite loop, or I will get a message indicating unable to connect
to the Solitaire server.

When this problem happens, I have noticed that other Microsoft Store apps will not run (for example, Calculator). I have also noticed that, if I click the Windows icon in the lower left (formerly "Start"), and
"Power" , the menu will not appear giving me options to shut down, sleep, reboot and so on. These issues seem to be "all or nothing" -- if one issue appears, all of them appear together. It's never "one but not the other two" or "two but
not the other one" - it's "all three" or "zero", with "zero" being very early after powering up or rebooting, and "all" setting in shortly thereafter. I have tried disabling anti-virus with no improvement.

 

Same here, but for me it's just the Pyramid game. Not in the Daily Challenges or Events, just the regular Pyramid game. All the others (Classic Solitaire/Spider/Freecell/TriPeaks) seem to load fine. Even in the Daily Challenges Pyramid loads ok, just
if I go to play the regular game. I recently upgraded to W10 Creator, but that was a few days ago, and everything seemed to be fine. Then, as you said, a couple of days ago I was playing Pyramid and the whole MS Solitaire crashed. When I went to start the
game again, Pyramid wouldn't load, just that spinning circle and "Loading" for ever and ever.

I take a little solace in the knowledge that it's not just me.
