Handling online and offline

We can't delete them at this point.

The way Microsoft handled storage management for the One is absolutely mind boggling. They took away our ability to handle our saves and backups the way we choose.

Have you tried starting the game offline, playing and then going online to overwrite the corrupt save? or does it load a corrupt hard drive save when offline?

Does this have something to do with how Windows 10 or the Play Anywhere system handles licenses, or is it tied directly to the game itself? Are certain "offline" aspects of the game simply online required to play properly?

Think we need to wait and see how saves and games are handled. If they enable multiple game saves then it's conceivable a person could have a game that's used online, then a separate one to use offline.

I plan to disable "online" play as I don't need other people meddling with my game. If I wanted that, I'd play Dark Souls and its ilk.

It's funny to see the comparison to Iphones and Ipads....they're both still functional if they don't have internet...the xbox one was not in it's E3 form...turn a switch (Larry Hyrb reference :0) ) now it's fully functional offline with online capability.
If people want to blame the complainers for that outcome, the complainers are more than happy and anyone not familiar with the E3 policies can thank the complainers they don't have a day one headache. One time connection and they never have to connect again....that's
the way it should have been. Xbox live subscribers are online all the time anyway so handle the online paid environment and let the offline user manage theirs.
