It's been a long time and I was a kid then but I don't remember NES games costing 30 bucks new. Either way the industry is different now, it's big business. Same goes for movies, aren't some movies 30 bucks on bluray?

Wait so the game they're selling for 20 bucks is only the size of a craftable map? If so that is a huge rip off. On PC you pay like 30 bucks and get like a thousand times the size. Some of you may think one map size is ok but just wait until you play more
and you'll realize how tiny that really is. It certainly kills exploring. If they don't patch this soon it will hurt sales I bet.

The sales can sometimes last a week but this also can depend on what the promotion is as some can be daily was this located in the deals with gold.

According to Major Nelson page it seems its only for the weekend as they celebrate the Halo world championship 2016 going on this weekend.– limited time offer.

The sale lasts until Monday. It's part of the weekly Deals with Gold. There are new deals each Tuesday. (Depending on your location, you might still see the deal very early on Tuesday morning, but it's safest to assume it expires at the end of Monday.)

You might also be interested to know that there is a free trial period (full access to the game) for this week! On the console, search for Halo 5: Guardians and you should see two buttons: "Install" and "Buy for $30.00". Press Install - this is a free trial
that lasts a week, until Wednesday I think.
