Halo Xb1 maybe going open world

Halo wouldn't fit to be a open world game to be honest. Destiny is a whole different game and has the right elements to make it open world but Halo is suited to be competitive multiplayer only.

You never knew though, 343i might think about doing something like this one day but probably around year 2016/17(Only guessing).

I think Halo 5: Guardians being open world would be interesting! By the looks of the teaser trailer shown at E3 2013 the area that Master Chief is in looks huge, it would make no sense for it to be all closed in like in previous Halo games! But we will just
have to wait and see I guess.

As detailed in many online forums, Halo 4 was a total failure of a game as evidenced by its abysmal population numbers. With that game, 343 industries convinced my group of 6 longtime halo-playing friends to abandon the Halo series and move to the new play
station system. Needless to say, we won't be wasting our money on Halo 5

They mean it in the sense that it's going to have a Halo 1-like map layout. Not that it's going to be an MMO-hybrid shooter. I believe rumors suggest that there is a separate Halo title in development for that, which was sparked by a 343 ad that was put
out almost a year back, looking for a digital artist to work on a Halo themed MMO first person shooter.

It's not Palmer - it's already been confirmed it's a male Spartan. Hopefully another player for co-op ;¬)

It will be interesting how John reacts to the events that have lead Hasley to side with M'dama,,,

@ Ocean H I think its just the glowing blue visor compiled with the events of Halo 4. Not to mention a couple of youtubers expressing that idea.

Update: Halo franchise Senior PR Manager Rob Semsey denied on Twitter the possibility that the Spartan could be Cortana.. so in the new book master leave infinity and Spartan sarah palmer goes after him to hunt him at unsc request?
