Our group is coming up on being around for FIVE years on February 26th 2015. Here is our leader and creator of
Midland Base with a few words.

This is the last week for the Halo 5 Beta. Next Monday will be the last day you can check out the next installment of the Halo franchise. Their latest

update has them introducing a new gametype "Strongholds". You’ll be able to play Strongholds on Regret and Empire. There will also be two maps swapped into the Slayer playlist. The forge map that won the poll was....Pegasus!! If you have any feedback or
issues then be sure to stop by their
Halo 5: Guardians MP Support Section. I wish I could shorten that name but I'm paid by the words.

Bungie's latest
BWU goes over some Raid issues and some loving on VoG. There next patch will come out tomorrow (13th), along with the return of the Iron Banner. It will run from the 13th until the 19th, that's a whole six days. So get your best gear/team and be ready this
Tuesday!!

returned and is being written by our former XO...Ec1ip53. Our new XO, Chipk77, has a mighty spot to fill but I know he will do just as well as Ec1ip53 did.

BWU goes over Crota's cheese diet, hard mode for Crota’s End is ready. When: 01-21-15 that is this Wednesday!! There's also new weapons, shaders and ships when playing on hard mode.

Pentathlon!!! We’ll get back to working on Destiny once the fog clears. Tomorrow, we immerse ourselves in some game theory to help us chart our course. Most of us won’t even detect the training exercise. We’ll be having too much fun. And beer. There will

BWU goes over the fastest clan to beat Crota's End on hard mode. Also Xur took away many a strange coins...their mysterious merchant had a haul of 19,436,440 coins - all earned in battle. That is a lot of coins my fellow guardians, well done!! In case

weapons. Based on their statistics the Auto rifle is awesome....really people?! I like the one shot head shot with those hand cannons!! I am (was) this guy in PvP..."We’re finding that players get very comfortable hanging back and using the Hand Cannon
like a Scout Rifle or a Sniper Rifle." Oh Bungie, why you gotta be like that?! Oh you made the game, alright then I'll continue to enjoy my Destiny!!

Our group will be FIVE years old!!!! That's like 20 in internet years. Yeah, makes no sense but whatever.

Our group, Midland Base will have its fifth anniversary this Thursday!! Being founded during the days of Halo 3 and continuing to strive in the days of Halo 5 and Destiny. That doesn't mean we haven't
enjoyed all of the . Personally my favorite is Halo 3, it was my first Halo Beta, first Halo matchmaking and the campaign was exceptional. Being science fiction based was more intriguing than those other FPS games.

Like anything else in life there have been ups and downs, good times and bad times, and other hardships/triumphs. Alas, we continue to move on and adapt with the help of our members, leaders and friends.

Well in case you missed it, since you're not a member, our group hit its FIFTH Anniversary last Thursday. That's right we were created back in 2010 on February 26th. I'm pretty sure we still be around come 2020. Now there's a year that looks futuristic
like something special will happen in that year. Who knows what the future holds...

Now for the talks of gaming, raids, and sheep. Bungie has added a sweet new tool for equipping your guardian on the move. I especially like the addition of selecting how much you want to move for ammo syns, materials and telemetry packs. There will be a
new playlist coming tomorrow. Inferno is the name and no motion tracker is the game.

Update 1.1.1 is live. With it came a fix for the Xbox One re-downloading update issue. If you’re still experiencing this issue after updating Destiny, please follow the troubleshooting guide linked above, or post in the
#Help forum.

I'm not as in the loop with MCC/Halo 5 since I've yet to get the XBOX ONE. Until then here's the latest

Midland Base!!!

The snow fall from the winter storm; Thor has mostly melted away. If you didn't get any snow/ice/sleet, last week, than rejoice that you don't live where I do.

The 343 people will back this Friday...the 13th!! Oh no, I'll be sure to avoid ladders, black cats and Camp Crystal Lake.

If you are following the HCS then you know the season 1 finals were last weekend. For those that don't follow that aspect of Halo, like me, here's the

recap.

Bungie's latest update 1.1.1 had a few bugs pop up. Nobody is perfect, not even folks like Bungie.



They are aware of an issue where players cannot see their Xbox characters on their Bungie.net profile or Companion app. If you are encountering this issue, please report your experience in this
thread. If you’re encountering an issue where you cannot see your Xbox One friends list, that is a separate issue they are investigating. Please check their
help article on this issue.

Our site, Midland Base!!!, has gotten a new theme. Shiny!! It's all thanks to one of our members...Swiftfire101. Be sure to check out our new look because swifty can code with the best of them.

Midland Base!!! supporting Destiny and Halo only for XBOX ONE & 360!!!

Halo 5 will be released this October 27th only on XBOX ONE. Find out more in
Bulletin 17 along with HCS season 2, Hunt the Truth and more Halo then you can handle.

Bungie talks about what to expect from their 1.1.2 update. Which will arrive sometime this week but I'm just guessing on that.

After you join up, please make an intro post. We do monthly activity scans to ensure our members are active members. You'll also need to join our
CLAN to participate in our Destiny events. Official M.B. events include but are not limited to game nights, clan battles, and mixers. Members that are not a part of the in-game Midland
Base are still members of Midland Base, but are not permitted to join in any official Midland Base events in Destiny.

There are always people that the rules were created for and here are a few of ours...

* Most of our rules revolve around being a good sport and not making others uncomfortable. This includes no t-bagging, no yelling at other players for doing poorly, and no talking about controversial topics (religion, politics, illegal things, etc). We make
an exception with the t-bagging rule against players who t-bag first. Hey, we aren't monsters!

* We have a minimum monthly post requirement for our forums to make sure all of our members are active. We require eight posts per month, starting the month after a members joins. If you fail to make eight posts and are removed from the group, you may apply
again and be accepted again, it will not be held against you! Obviously, if you are requesting to join again, that means you are active again.
