    HALO WARS not working


    Hello all! if you are trying to play Halo Wars on XBOX 1. Its not working, well at least not for me. Please chat with someone at Xbox live and mention other people have tried and digital downloads are affected as well. You have to remind them there are
    others and they should escalate it. Thanks all! keep gaming!

    Halo Wars 2 twitter skin promotion not working

    The Halo Wars 2 UNSC Camo Skin that you acquired by playing a twitter game used as a promotion for Halo Wars 2 is not working. I have been told that the code is broken and needed to post here to get it fixed.

    Still waiting for my Halo Wars Definitive Edition Code

    Hello,

    I'm trying my luck here. I'm loosing patience. I bought Halo Wars 2 Ultimate Edition on April 14th as a download code from amazon.de (germany: https://www.amazon.de/Halo-Wars-Ultimate-Windows-Download/dp/B01H2DTT5O/ref=sr_1_2_twi_sof_3?ie=UTF8...
    ), so a respectable source. I activated the code on xbox.com and it unlocked Halo Wars 2, but not Halo Wars Definitive Edition. Within my store library, Halo Wars Definitive Edition is only listed once as not working on this device (supposedly that's the XBox
    One version, as there is also another Halo Wars 2 not working in this device and other content as well).

    Since then, I have chatted two times with the german Microsoft support and I was told both times I will receive the code within days. Which was not the case. On the other hand, postings in this forum say it should unlock directly and we don't get any codes.
    What is it?

    Halo Wars Definitive Edition is now even available as a standalone purchase in the MS store and on steam. What is the problem with activating it for me? This is an awful practice.

    Please, unlock the game as advertised!

    Halo Wars 2 not available to download on my PC even though it is already purchased on my Xbox

    It gets a bit complicated. If you have Gamepass then all should instal. The console will allow you to have Halo 5: Guardian, Halo Wars 2, Halo Wars De, Halo Spartan Assault and Halo MCC installed. The PC allows Halo CE, Halo, Halo Forge, Halo Wars 2,
    Halo Wars DE, Halo Wars Spartan Assault, Halo Wars Spartan Strike and Halo MCC to be installed.

    As for paying vs. free, the Microsoft Store should handle that. It might need resetting using a cmd prompt at admin level of wsreset. It takes a bit.

    I have had to uninstall and redownload MCC to get it to capture all, but it works!

    Let us know if you still have problems!

    How could or would a game like Age of Empires work on console?

    If they reworked the controls similar to Halo Wars it would work really well.

    RTS is always better with kb/m, but Halo Wars showed controller support can be done well.

    Do a search for just Halo Wars 2. In the results it should show "Halo Wars 2: Demo, Halo Wars 2, Halo Wars 2: Standard Edition" Try clicking the one in the middle and see if that one will start the install for you. I noticed if I choose the standard
    edition it wants to install on the console.
    ok that worked. It seems odd that the version listed under the game pass is not the one that will allow you to download it...

    Update: Halo Wars 1 works now! I didn't do anything so I gues Microsoft did something on their end
