Halo Wars downloads but won't launch

Been trying to play halo wars on the ONE for a while now + have deleted it and downloaded it three times now. It keeps giving me the message saying that "If you're sure it's been released, restart your Xbox and launch it again. Otherwise, wait for the release
date. (0x87e10007)" Any know how to fix this?

Halo Wars Definitive Edition Downloads on console but wont show up to download on PC

I bought the Ultimate Edition of Halo Wars 2 and put in my code and it let me download Halo Wars Definitive Edition on my xbox one but it won't show up in my library to download onto my windows 10 laptop.

 

Won't download code error?

no idea buddy....you might have to wait it out; uninstalling/reinstalling might work though;

 

hm. if you already own the digital version of this game it should have launched. if its the disc, I suggest cleaning the disc first and then using a lens cleaner for the system itself. might help there.

 

unless you're talking about halo wars 2. then you're outta luck until February 2017 when it can be played

 

verify that it is halo wars and not halo wars 2. ( I know it sounds stupid but I never leave any stone unturned) if its the disk version. try cleaning it and re-entering it in the system. let it do its thing. ( install) try launching it. if it gives you
an error again. try doing a soft reset by holding down the power button for 10 seconds. the system should shut off. hold the button for about 5 seconds after the system powers off to reset the cache. (additional step if needed after system shuts down unplug
the power supply and press and hold the power button for 5 seconds to drain all power of the system to reset the flash storage) power the system back up ( plug in power supply first if you took the extra step) and try accessing the game again

 

Step 1 Once you've received your code thru messages from Xbox Live, sign in on your account on www.Xbox.com

Step 2 Click on your name and go down to messages, open the message from xbox showing your code.

Step 3 RIGHT CLICK the message where the code is and hit OPEN IN NEW TAB

Step 4 Should pop up with the title and give you the option to redeem, then go to your xbox and over to the ready to install list and you should see Halo Wars Definitive Edition ready to install, make sure you start the installation as it's not automatic.

Step 5 For PC, follow these steps then go into the Microsoft store on PC, go to Halo wars 2, download it, then click manage. There should be a list of things that shows and one will be HW DE with an option to download.
