Halo Wars Definitive Edition Key

Hello Microsoft,

Is there any way I can get the key for the Purchased Ultimate Edition? That would be great! I don't want to play the story of the second game without playing the first game and I purchased the game on the 8th of March. Any help would be great!

Halo Wars Definitive Edition

I just got the Halo Wars 2 Definitive Edition, how do I get the key for Halo Wars 1 Definitive Edition

 

Preordered Halo wars 2, did not get key for definitive edition

I have not received a cd-key for halo wars: definitive edition after preordering halo wars 2.

To clarify, on this promotion you would have needed to pre-order/purchase Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition by February 17, 2017. Eligible users would then receive codes within 7 to 10 days of the pre-order. Depending on where and how you pre-ordered though,
the process for getting Halo Wars: Definitive Edition could vary. Could you please let us know where you pre-ordered the game and how?

Okay, so you are telling me I had to Pre-order the game? I bought the game on Gamestop.com and got a digital code on 3/8/17. But the problem is that NO WHERE does it state that I have to Pre-order the game to get the code or else I would have never bought
the Ultimate Edition which is False Advertisement. here is what the Site says. Along with that when I looked at the game on the Microsoft App Store it shows that Halo Wars Definitve Edition, Halo Wars 2 and the Season Pass are included. This needs to be changed! So
based on circumstances; I feel I am eligible to the first game due to how it was handled and no one has told Gamestop etc to change their pages etc.

The forums also state to get EARLY ACCESS to the game you need to pre-order. But the FAQ still say that it's available through the Ultimate Edition and not a "Pre-Order" Promotion.

Thanks for clarifying. The terms I mentioned are for digital orders on the Xbox Store and how you get the game varies based on how you purchased it. Since this was purchased as a physical item through GameStop, the codes would be inside the box. The website
does mention while supplies last though, so you'll need to contact GameStop directly to check on codes if they're not inside the box. We don't have the ability to replace a code or re-send a code that was purchased at a retail unfortunately. It has to be through
the Xbox Store or Windows Store for us the have that ability.

You'll want to reach out to GameStop directly either through their store or Customer Service department to see what options may be available to you. I found this link
HERE that will give you the option to email them, but I wasn't able to find a direct phone number. You might want to check on your receipt for more contact information.
