Halo Wars DE Waited 13 days before finally chatting online to get code

I was not at all happy once I purchased Halo Wars 2 Ultimate to find that I did not have immediate access to Halo Wars DE. However I did not read the fine print and that was on me. I have never had this issue of buying a game then having to wait for a
code to be sent after buying of xbox digital store. So after waiting 13 days patiently I finally contact support. The support team was nice after being transferred to another agent and taking about an hour they give me my redeem code which was great. I then
receive another code that night so being the honest person that I am, I contact support to ask the support agent if it would be okay if I let my friend who purchased Halo Wars 2 Ultimate have that code so that we could play sooner than later. I was then told
to give the code to the agent, and then he deactivated the code, and explained that my friend would have to wait just as everyone else. My next point was well I waited almost enough for two people can you send him his code to his gamer tag early. Again the
answer was no. So my rant is this I know we are all impatient people but the terms in the fine print is 7-10 days not business days I might add just 7-10 days. I waited 13 days and I was the one who had to contact support to even see if I was going to get
a code. Services were not rendered to me per the terms. I waiting longer took time out of my day twice because I am an honest person. I work retail and if I had a customers order come in late they would be upset and demand some form of compensation. My
biggest complaint isn't even the fact that I have to wait but everyone knows that playing some games are intended to be with a certain friend. So now I have to wait another 10+ days possibly for him to get his code which puts us ridiculously close to the
release of halo wars 2. I am not much of a season pass person I really only got the Ultimate edition so I could play halo wars DE early in anticipation for Halo wars 2 with this one friend. I am a big supporter of xbox and Microsoft, and I am never one to
get my feathers ruffled but this is not the service I expected.

Halo Wars Definitive Edition Code

Hey, so I bought the Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition bundle which comes with Halo Wars Definitive Edition and I never got a download code for Halo Wars DE. In the Microsoft Store App it says I own Halo Wars Definitive Edition but can't download it. I just
finished chatting with support who told me to post here to get the code.

I'm in the same boat ordered mine December 21st and wait the "7-10 days" then contacted them for them to tell me give it time for "holiday traffic" and it will be here by January 11th and here I am today still without my code. My friend pre ordered it a
day before me and got his code the next day... so he's already beat it and everything and now he probably won't even want to play together now. What did you have to do to finally get your code? I've went to support chat two different times and I even posted
a forum in support because that's what they said they could do for me... I've Waited 20 days easy
